Can a pig squid have a longer throw than an external weight squid? Now it can and it comes to us from DTD.
For many years now, many anglers have been using so-called "pigs" made of land because they believe that this more natural shape attracts squid better. But these squids did not have the required shot and also wanted an external biting pencil on the line to go a little better.
The DTD Ballistic resembles a squid line fished from a boat, but it is actually artificial, the design of which was based on the observation of the practices of real coastal squid fishermen, who use "Pig" style squid nets.
The DTD Ballistic is by far the most effective long range squid and helps you cover much more ground. In particular, based on measurements carried out by DTD, its shot is estimated to be 40% greater than squid tanks with an external weight and this implies the coverage of a larger surface by 96%.
Their bodies emit Red Phosphorus and her design is based on the Red Killer. DTD made sure that the name of the model is written on the back of the squid, which reacts to UV light, enhancing the visibility of the squid, especially when fishing during the day, while the "tear" on the sides of the body is in bright blue, fluorescent color. The color blue is also at a wavelength that is easily seen by squid, especially in low light conditions.
